GIC 2027 South Assessment Registration

The road to GIC All-Star Weekend 2027 continues with the South Regional Assessment!

The South Assessment will be held on January 9, 2027, and is designed to give the GIC Cheer staff the opportunity to evaluate each athlete’s current skill level, strengths, experience, and overall cheer abilities before camp begins.

This is an assessment—not a tryout. There are no cuts. Every athlete who attends the South Assessment will be invited to GIC Cheer Camp.

During the assessment, athletes may be evaluated in areas such as tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, performance, and overall cheer technique. The information gathered will help our coaching and choreography staff begin preparing stunt groups, athlete placements, formations, transitions, routine difficulty, choreography, and the overall cadence of camp ahead of time.

By evaluating athletes in advance, our staff can begin building a plan specifically for the athletes participating from the South Region. This allows us to spend less time at camp determining skill levels and more time focused on building chemistry, teaching choreography, cleaning skills, strengthening performance, and preparing an unforgettable GIC routine.
