East Gold Cheer Assessment Registration - 1/15

GIC 2027 East Gold Assessment Registration

The road to GIC All-Star Weekend 2027 continues with the East Gold Regional Assessment!

The East Gold Assessment will be held on January 15, 2027, at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. This assessment is designed to give the GIC Cheer staff the opportunity to evaluate each athlete’s current skill level, strengths, experience, and overall cheer abilities before camp begins.

This is an assessment—not a tryout. There are no cuts. Every athlete who attends the East Gold Assessment will be invited to GIC Cheer Camp.

During the assessment, athletes may be evaluated in areas such as tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, performance, and overall cheer technique. The information gathered will help our coaching and choreography staff begin preparing stunt groups, athlete placements, formations, transitions, routine difficulty, choreography, and the overall cadence of camp ahead of time.

By evaluating athletes before camp, our staff can begin building a plan around the talent participating in the East Gold Region. This allows camp time to be focused on what matters most—building chemistry, teaching choreography, cleaning skills, strengthening performance, and preparing an unforgettable routine for GIC All-Star Weekend 2027.

Come ready to showcase your skills, connect with fellow East Gold athletes, and officially begin your GIC 2027 journey!
