East Cheer Assessment Registration - 1/15

GIC 2027 East Assessment Registration

The road to GIC All-Star Weekend 2027 continues with the East Regional Assessment!

The East Assessment will be held on January 15, 2027, at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. This assessment gives the GIC Cheer staff the opportunity to evaluate each athlete’s current skill level, strengths, experience, and overall cheer abilities before camp begins.

This is an assessment—not a tryout. There are no cuts. Every athlete who attends the East Assessment will be invited to GIC Cheer Camp.

During the assessment, athletes may be evaluated in areas such as tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, performance, and overall cheer technique. The information gathered will help our coaching and choreography staff begin planning stunt groups, athlete placements, formations, transitions, routine difficulty, choreography, and the overall cadence of camp ahead of time.

By assessing our athletes in advance, we can arrive at camp with a clearer understanding of the talent participating from the East Region. That means less time determining skill levels once camp begins and more time focused on building chemistry, teaching choreography, cleaning skills, and creating an exciting routine for GIC All-Star Weekend 2027.

Come ready to showcase your skills, connect with other East Region athletes, and officially begin your GIC 2027 journey!
