GIC Cheer Try Out (Registration)

GIC will be hosting Cheer tryouts January of 2025. Each region will have their own try out session.

The Website will be updated with exact locations, dates and times for participants. Join our email list to get the information first.

There are a limited number of try out slots, so early registration is highly recommended.

Cheerleaders will be judged by the coaches for each region. They will be juded on technical skills and fundamentals (motions, jumps, tumbling and stunting ability.)

Cheerleaders will each be given a number, and throughout the course of the try outs, they will work hands on with the regional coaches.

At the end of try outs each cheerleader will indivudally complete a dance they learned , and demonstrate the individual motion drills, jumps and tumbling abilities.


Cheerleaders will be selected by their regional coaches, and they will be participate in draft day to learn of their selection status.
